Mentorship changes lives. Having someone who listens, guides, and shows up beyond the basics is life-changing for young people.
✨
Whether it’s a parent, teacher, or community mentor, it’s about being present and creating spaces where kids feel safe to learn, grow, and ask questions. Our youth deserve support that extends beyond the surface—because when they thrive, our whole community thrives. 💜🌟

Building trust with our kids is key. As parents, we need to create spaces where our children feel safe opening up about their bodies, feelings, and health. It’s not always easy, but these conversations are essential.
✨
It’s also about finding the right doctors—ones who truly care, listen, and make our kids feel seen. When healthcare feels approachable and empathetic, we empower the next generation to advocate for themselves, even when we’re not there. 💜✨

“My story isn’t perfect, but it’s mine. I’ve been through loss, heartbreak, and depression, but I’ve also found strength and healing through therapy. For a long time, I believed what many of us do—that you just pray about it and keep going. But I’ve learned that God gives people the gift to help others heal, and it’s okay to lean on them.

Now, as a college success advisor, I use my experiences to help my students. I’m open about my struggles because they need to see that it’s okay to ask for help. We can’t keep bottling it up. Healing starts with honesty, and I want them to know they don’t have to face it alone. “
💜✨-Ashlee

“When I was diagnosed with HIV, my world changed. I had to face my reality and learn how to take care of myself—mentally, emotionally, and physically. It wasn’t easy, but it was necessary.

Now, I share my story because I want others to know: living with HIV isn’t the end of your story. You can still thrive, still find joy, and still show up for yourself. HIV doesn’t define me. I live every day Higher In Victory. 💜✨” -Dominique

✨ “I’m a nurse, a minister, and the CEO of The Potter’s Boutique. My calling? Shaping lives. Whether it’s molding the perfect healthcare outcomes, guiding future leaders, or sharing God’s word, everything I do is about transformation. Just like the Potter shapes the clay, I remove what isn’t needed to help others step into their full potential. 💜

We’re all works in progress, but with intention and care, we can be made whole. 🌿

What do you love most about being a Black Woman? đź’ś

I love that we’re powerful, bold, and beautiful. Black women nurture this society—we’re inventors, innovators, and truth-tellers. We create culture, uplift each other, and embody Black girl magic. Honestly, what other race has their own magic? ✨
Being a Black woman means being everything, and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
