The SUNY Optometry community was proud to take part in Assemblywoman Alicia L. Hyndman’s 5th Annual Community Day, where our team completed nearly 50 vision screenings for local residents. Events like these highlight the importance of accessible eye care and allow us to connect directly with the people we serve.

We’re grateful to the dedicated team: Taylor Greaves, Joy Harewood, Theresa Thai, Melinda Morvai, Jenna Lu, Miriam McClean, Leticia Jacquez, and Saysha Blazier who generously gave their time and expertise to support this effort. Their commitment reflects the College’s mission of advancing vision care and strengthening community partnerships.
