Hello Lovely Souls! I hope you had a wonderful libra pink moon this week. I wanted to share that I am still practicing reiki; it's been almost 3 years since my first attunement and I couldn't be more thankful. Reiki is part of me, and I utilize this beautiful energy every single day. One of the biggest gifts for me is that I get to share it with people. That is my ultimate goal: to use this for the greater good of all.

Recently, I got recertified with some amazing teachers here in Brooklyn; this was driven out of my curiosity to see how others teach, and their teaching philosophy greatly appealed to me. It centers around decolonization, anti-racism, and non-gender binarism. In other words, my teachers really are working towards creating a safe space for BIPOC and non-binary souls. Creating a safe place for all matters. This philosophy also means, that the history of reiki is viewed from that lens in their teaching.

Anyhow, I am so happy to connect with these beautiful teachers, other students, and like-minded souls in this community.

So, to celebrate my reattunement (I will be taking level 3 again, soon as well), I would like to give away some free sessions. As I have also paused my monthly group reiki sessions. I am not sure when I will relaunch those, but another low barrier offering will come for sure in time.

For those who are new here and are wondering what Reiki is, it is a healing modality that originated in Japan based on sending chi-life force energy channeled through a practitioner to a client. This helps with deep relaxation and restoring balance in body, mind, and soul.

In my sessions, I go through all main chakra points and am able to tell the client where energy is currently depleted, those areas will be the focus of the session at first, before going through all energy points. We also connect these physical points to possible emotional root causes and I give guidance on how to work with that specific energy point or chakra beyond the session through simple practices as well as consulting other energetic tools such as crystals, oracle cards, or sound.

My monthly group reiki session this month is coming up on the 14th–Valentine's Day. To participate you need to:

- sign up (www.janinafunda.com/events)
- relax and enjoy at a designated time*

* Or within 48hrs. after the event to receive the reiki energy, which means you can participate even if you are not available at the time. If you are sleeping, you can set the intention that you will receive the reiki during your sleep, too.

24-48hrs. after the session you will receive an energy group reading about the session via email. You can use the reading as inspiration to work on specific areas or subjects that come up for the week (or as long as they resonate with you).
