✨ Exciting day at the office!

Dr. Robinson recently demonstrated the Fraxel FTX (Fast Tracking Experience) a next-generation non-ablative fractional laser by Solta Medical on a patient who was seeking skin rejuvenation.

Fraxel FTX uses 1550nm and 1927nm wavelengths to help improve acne scars, wrinkles, sun damage, and pigmentation on the face, neck, chest, and hands. Beyond cosmetic improvement, Fraxel can also act as a preventive, non-invasive treatment by targeting precancerous cells (actinic keratoses), repairing cumulative sun damage, and helping reduce the risk of non-melanoma skin cancer all while offering effective skin resurfacing with minimal downtime.

We are especially excited about how this updated Fraxel technology may benefit patients participating in our ongoing research study:

Our study is exploring how non-invasive fractional laser treatment combined with topical medication may provide an effective approach for certain skin cancers, offering patients innovative options. Early results show near complete elimination of BCCs and SCCs with just one short treatment, minimal disruption for the patient, and excellent cosmetic outcomes.

Dr. Robinson is terrific. Under his care my skin is healthy and well looked after. He spends a lot of time with his patients and listens carefully which is rare with a lot of doctors these days! Any concerns about skin issues are dealt with expediently. Any questions about how I might take better care of my skin cosmetically are also addressed with expertise. I highly recommend Dr. Robinson!

🔹 Alopecia Areata - An autoimmune condition that causes sudden, round patches of hair loss.
🔹 Traction Alopecia - Caused by repeated tension from tight hairstyles or extensions. This is especially important to watch for in kids, early habits matter!

I was recently interviewed by Repertoire Magazine about psoriasis, a condition that affects over 8 million people in the U.S. While many think of it as just a skin issue, it’s actually a systemic immune disease that can affect whole-body health.

With new biologic treatments, systemic therapies, and lifestyle approaches, people living with psoriasis today have more tools than ever to manage their symptoms and improve quality of life.

Raising awareness and reducing stigma remains crucial, no one should face this alone.
