Diabetes is not dangerous if managed properly, but is very dangerous if left unattended. The second very important thing is to have a proper diet plan. No, you donβt have to starve yourself. You need to only make sure that your diet contains fewer carbs, fats, and more protein, fiber. It is better to take smaller meals at frequent intervals than to have less heavy meals. The third and the most important is physical activities like exercises and long walks. This will reduce your dependence on drugs and medication.
If there is negligence, a person can have serious problems involving various organs like eyes, lower limbs, kidneys, heart, etc. So prevention of such calamities should be any diabetics very very first priority.
