🌕🎶🙏🏽
The Full Moon tomorrow, 29th September has the Sun in Libra and the Moon in Aries and there are always energies of balancing with the rulers of these two signs being Venus and Mars, the feminine and masculine archetypes of the chart, and with Libra whose symbol is the scales, always seeking balance.
In addition, in this chart, the karmic Nodes changed signs earlier in the year and the South Node is now in Libra and the North Node is in Aries, and Mars is now sandwiched between the Sun and the South Node (all three in Libra) and Chiron is between the Moon and the North Node. Another layer is added to the masc/fem theme from Venus and Mars being in close contact all month, although this never quite becomes exact.
The only connection that does culminate on the day of the Full Moon is a challenging and catalytic square between Venus and Uranus and this indicates that the feminine nature, and how it is being expressed, is likely to be shown to us. This is where we can spot the imbalance and adjust the scales.
So there are layers on layers of masculine and feminine and karmic representations here and we undoubtedly have great opportunities to rebalance karma and to adjust and rebalance our own masculine and feminine energies.
The only connection the Sun and Moon make, interestingly, is a niggly one to Saturn that was exact on 24th when the Mars/Chiron opposition was also exact so whatever arose for us then will still be echoing and this Full Moon gives a further opportunity to release stagnant and outdated responses and patterns now.
Aries (Moon, Chiron, North Node) gives us the opportunity to learn about the self, who we really are and is a very independent, self-reliant sign that may see it is a weakness to ask for help, feeling that they should be able to do things on their own. Ruled by Mars, we can also see competitiveness, assertiveness, spontaneity, speed and a quick-fire energy that can get frustrated and impatience that builds into anger. This anger dissipates as quickly as it arose and Aries moves on, but the person left scolded by the fire (unexpectedly), is left wondering what happened and has to process that.
The opposite sign of Libra (Sun, Mars, South Node), is the sign where, having spent the first six signs developing the self, we go out into the world and learn about connections with others. We are testing how we fit in with others and Libra can feel uncomfortable if there is a misalignment and can readjust its scales and over-compromise. Great peace-keepers, these are the diplomats of the zodiac but can get caught in that role, for example, between warring parents as a child and, afraid to assert themselves and upset the peace and balance, they adjust their response instead, supressing who they really are to keep things harmonious.
Bringing these two signs together, blending their strengths, we develop a strong sense of the Self and can then go into connections with others, learn the art of compromise, without over-compromising or losing ourSelf. Knowing who we are and what our core values are, we can stand strong in those without doing battle or being aggressive and give up old habitual responses of being a pacifier or saying only what will sooth the waters.
