Rosa Mutiflora and her beautiful Heart medicine 🌹♥️
Here are the remedies you can easily craft with her fragrant blooms:
1. Raw honey infused with rose petals: fill your jar with these mesmerizing, delicate petals and pour in raw honey to the top of the jar. Move the honey around with a chopstick to make sure all petals are coated. Close the jar and turn it upside down once a day for the petals to float back to the top. Your rose honey will be ready in 6-7 days. Feel free to keep the petals in as they are very fine and demulcent, and use this magical honey on a toast, in your mocktails, yogurt, desserts and teas. 🌹
2. Rose Brandy: fill the jar with rose clusters and add a few chopped up leaves. Fill your jar with an organic brandy, close and macerate for 6 weeks. Strain the plants and take 1-2 teaspoons (and more if needed) to nourish your heart.🌹
3. Rose Elixir: fill the jar with flowers and a few leaves, and fill it 3/4 of the volume with an organic brandy and 1/4 volume with honey for double extraction and sweetness. Macerate for 6 weeks, strain the plants and enjoy straight, on the rocks or in carbonated water.🌹
4. Rose Oxymel: alcohol free preparation. Fill your jar with rose clusters and a few leaves. Fill the jar 3/4 with raw organic apple cider vinegar and 1/4 (by volume) of raw local honey. Macerate for 6 weeks, strain the plants and use this heart medicine in your mocktails and summer lemonades or with some carbonated water. Cover the jar with a piece of parchment paper to avoid corrosion, before you put the lid on. 🌹
You can make these remedies with rosa damascena, Rosa rugosa or other roses grown in clean soil with no pesticides or chemical sprays.🌹
Enjoy the heart nurturing magic you have created and share with your family and friends! 🌹
