There are key ingredients that lead to deep, transformational change. I’m talking about change on a cellular level!

I have put these ingredients together into a method of care that I call RESST:

• Relational
Specific skills to cultivate meaningful relationship with yourself, your families and community.

• Experiential
Active exercises to sense, listen, learn and relearn, so old patterns fall away and new ones emerge.

• Somatic
Reconnecting with your instincts, emotions, and inner wisdom through body-based practices.

• Spiritual
Nurturing your inner life and aligning or realigning with your innate divine navigation system.

• Transformation
Daily shifts to live in alignment in how you relate to yourself and others.

RESST is grounded in the latest developments in neuroscience, informed by our current understanding of the nervous system, and built for deep and enduring change.

As a therapist, my greatest curiosity has always been this: what creates transformational change?

Not temporary relief or coping, but the kind of shifts where what was once is no longer. Where the patterns, pain, or stories that once defined us no longer hold the same power, and we are able to emerge into a new way of being.

Whether you’ve lived with mental health challenges for years, or simply feel stuck in one small area of your life, the question is the same:

👉 What ingredients make deep, lasting change possible?

That’s the work I’m devoted to: understanding and sharing those key ingredients for transformational change.

I have exciting news! And I’m taking this moment to reintroduce myself.

I’m Erika Malm, psychotherapist, educator, and mental health activist.

After 20+ years working with trauma, eating disorders, and other complex mental health challenges, I’ve created RESST:

• Relational
• Experiential
• Somatic
• Spiritual
• Transformation

RESST is a holistic, integrative approach to care for individuals, couples, families, and organizations. It’s shaped by the latest developments in neuroscience, my decades of clinical practice, thousands of client experiences, wise mentors, and my own ongoing growth.

More than a framework, RESST is a roadmap for transformational change: grounded in relationship, experiential learning, embodiment, and our innate spirituality.

Transformational change is possible.

I want to send out a PSA to everyone out there who’s struggling:

STOP TRYING TO FIX WHAT’S BROKEN!

You’re meant to evolve, not patch yourself back together.

Every new pattern you create is a declaration:

👉 I’m not going back - I’m becoming.

Through intentional practices that reconnect you with yourself, your loved ones, your body, and your own divine navigation system, deep transformation IS POSSIBLE.

For anyone who has tried to heal and hasn’t yet found relief, please know: it’s not your fault.

Sometimes the care wasn’t right.
Sometimes the conditions weren’t right.
