Our Midwives, Nurse Educators, Lactation Specialists, and Labor & Delivery Nurses were honored to participate in the Bronx Community Baby Shower at the Northeast YMCA. The event was hosted by Rep. Ritchie Torres, Bronx Borough President Vanessa L. Gibson, Assembly Speaker Carl E. Heastie, Senator Jamaal Bailey, and Councilmember Kevin C. Riley.

During the event, our team:
👶 Donated pajamas and onesies
📚 Provided health education and resources to pregnant and birthing families
👜 Distributed supply bags and giveaways
🍼 Led nursing demonstrations for new parents
💤 Promoted safe sleep awareness

We were also thrilled to reconnect with former patients and meet new families we look forward to caring for soon. 💗

Join us in supporting a cause that helps shine a light on domestic violence. The Social Work Department at Jacobi Health is hosting an event to decorate little paper t-shirts for the annual Clothesline Project display.

📅 When: Friday, October 3rd, 2025 | 11:00am – 1:00pm
📍 Where: Jacobi Campus (1400 Pelham Pkwy S, Bronx, NY)
