Larisa O. Gerts is a principal speech-language pathologist specializing in diagnosis and treatment of pediatric speech-language disorders. Prior to starting her private practice, Larisa held leading positions in early childhood institutions, center based programs and medical facilities. In addition to her private work, she continues to consult for New York city private schools. Larisa is a former adjunct faculty and graduate program supervisor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Long Island University. She continues to maintain a supervisory role for speech-language CF clinicians at local clinics and schools.

She is a member of American Speech-Language-Hearing Association from which she holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology. She also is a member of New York State Speech-Language-Hearing Association, International Association of Logopedics and Phoneatrics and Zero to Three organization. In addition, Larisa has spoken at numerous conferences and workshops, including the international conference on “Early Childhood Care and Education.”
