Meet Jess & Welcome her 🙏🩷

After over a decade of personal yoga practice, I proudly completed my 200HR teacher training at Be Yoga — an oasis that continues to shape both my approach and my love for the practice.

I have experience teaching youth, seniors, and community classes with a focus on accessibility, breath awareness, and creating welcoming spaces where everyone feels supported. I have also worked closely with people with disabilities, which has deepened my practice in patience, adaptability, and compassion. Beyond yoga, my sacred connection to the natural world continues to inspire how I teach and move.

Since first stepping into the studio, I have found a space that is warm, inclusive, and alive with positive energy — a place where people of all abilities can feel seen, supported, and free to explore their practice at their own pace. Being part of Be Yoga’s community is an invitation to cultivate presence, resilience, and self-compassion — tools that extend beyond the mat into everyday life.

In my classes, students can expect gentle guidance, patient instruction, and unconditional support, allowing them to move with confidence and curiosity. My aim is to create a space to breathe deeply, reconnect with the body, and nurture both strength and calm.

I look forward to sharing presence, movement, and community with you all!

Our of has been a voice for the liberation of the Palestinian people. Leila and 500 civilians sailed to Gaza to deliver humanitarian aid as part of the .

Their mission was intercepted by the Israeli government, and they have been imprisoned in Israel. They are not criminals. They are activists delivering aid to occupied Palestine. They were unarmed. Their boats carried basic necessities: food, water, baby formula, diapers, and diabetic medicine.

In the 1:12 Yoga Sutra, we honor the dance between light and dark, a theme echoed in the season of Mabon, the Fall Equinox. Autumn invites us to reflect on balance—between what we’ve grown and what we must release, between the warmth of summer and the quiet descent into winter. Life, like the turning of the seasons, is a continual weaving of opposites.

In Gomukhasana (Cow Face Pose), this balance comes alive in the body. The crossing arms and legs mirror the interlacing of shadow and light within us, reminding us that wholeness is found when we embrace both. As we breathe into the posture, we soften into spaciousness, welcoming the wisdom of fall: to honor what has been, and to open with grace to what is becoming.

The practice of sthira sukham asanam—every posture should hold both steadiness and ease. In practice, this becomes more than physical alignment; it is an invitation to embody the season’s lesson. Just as fall asks us to balance light and dark, yoga teaches us to balance effort and surrender, strength and softness. On and off the mat, we are continually called to find this harmony.
