Tadasana is the foundation of all asanas, where the principles of alignment, awareness, and precision are awakened.

This pose teaches the practitioner to stand with alert stillness, cultivating both mental focus and physical balance. For Iyengar, Tadasana was a way to experience unity of body, mind, and soul, setting the tone for the discipline and mindfulness required in the rest of the practice.

Staying hydrated is essential during the summer months, especially when practicing Heated yoga.

Here are 5 common signs of dehydration during Heated yoga:
1. Dizziness or lightheadedness
2. Muscle cramps
3. Headache
4. Dry mouth or excessive thirst
5. Fatigue or feeling unusually weak

Staying ahead of hydration with water and
Sweating in a heated environment causes the body to lose not just water but also vital electrolytes that support energy, muscle function, and recovery.
