This phrase from the ancient Huang Di Nei Jing text illustrates that qi or blood obstruction and stagnation leads to pain, and when we find a way to alleviate the obstruction, the pain will be alleviated. This is often accomplished through acupuncture, cupping, heat therapy including moxibustion, manual massage but also can involve stress reduction practices and dietary modifications.

💡 Research backs this up: acupuncture has been shown to help with arthritis, migraines, chronic low back pain, and more - often with lasting results.

If you’re ready for a supportive, drug-free way to ease pain and move more comfortably, we’re here to help.

Come in for your acu-nap soon and put those health dollars to good use before they expire. Your future self will thank you!🧡

Sometimes the habits that make the biggest difference aren’t flashy or new. They’re the simple ones: getting to bed on time, cooking more at home, moving your body in ways that bring joy, reaching out to a loved one.

Mentioning these steady practices may not get us a massive social media following, but they will help you create a foundation for health and ease.

Acupuncture can help support you along the way—by regulating sleep, calming the nervous system, and rebalancing your energy so that healthy routines feel more natural.

If you’re ready for a seasonal reset, I’d love to see you in the clinic.

Can You Feel It? The seasons are shifting.

Late Summer, which corresponds to the Earth Element, is that short, sweet window between Summer’s fire and Fall’s metal. In East Asian Medicine, this is the time to return to your center.

If your digestion or mind has been all over the place, you're not alone - this is the season of the Stomach + Spleen. Now that work and school are back in full swing, stay in harmony with this season by taking a moment to brainstorm how to prioritize slower meals and a sustainable routine.

“Why am I so tired?”

It’s a question we hear often, especially when cycles feel heavier, longer, or more depleting than usual.

A recent study highlights what many already feel: heavy or prolonged bleeding is linked to fatigue. When your body loses more blood each cycle, it may struggle to replenish itself which can leave you feeling worn out, foggy, or flat.

In East Asian Medicine, we look at what’s underneath. Fatigue and heavy bleeding often reflect imbalances—and we work gently to restore harmony.

Swipe for a few small, supportive ways to care for yourself through this season.

You’re not alone—and you don’t have to push through it.

Bladder leaks? You’re not alone—and there’s support in addition to pelvic floor PT.

Urinary incontinence is incredibly common during pregnancy, postpartum, and menopause—but it doesn’t have to be your “new normal.”

While pelvic floor therapy is a vital first step, acupuncture offers a gentle, research-backed way to support bladder control and nervous system function. In East Asian Medicine, we look at the whole picture (hormones, stress, body temperature, and more) to find your balance.
