🌱 Day 98 of 1,000 | 1000 Days Campaign

In 2025, we held 43 virtual parent support sessions, creating space for learning, support, and connection — and those sessions are part of something so much bigger.

To date, we’ve served 600+ families worldwide through education, advocacy, and hands-on support. From local rooms to global reach, the ripple keeps growing.

And we’re just getting started.

Our 2026 Goals: 

✨ Expand access to culturally responsive birth & postpartum education

✨ Reach every Queens neighborhood and beyond

✨ Deepen community partnerships

✨ Build sustainable systems so families aren’t just supported — they’re centered

2025 has taught me I have a lot of fight left in me 💪🏿. While life was lifeing I started a nonprofit Birth By Queens Foundation and we officially became a 501 c (3) organization. The best gift I could have asked for in this season. This not only allows us to expand our work to build the first birth center in Queens. It allows us the ability to apply for grants and to thank the people who will financially support our mission through donation.

With that being said, we have a goal to start 2026 by raising $5,000 to fund some of our programs and services.

In 2022 the entire city showed up and cheered me on as I finished the New York City Marathon. What the world didn't see was 2021 when I quietly quit at the half way mark just after crossing into Queens.

I learned two very important things that year.
1. The preparation is just as important as the end goal.
2. You can't do this alone. You need your community to stand behind you.

In 2022 I learned I learned I can do hard things and became a NYC Marathon finisher. 🏅

The journey was hard and long but it was not impossible. I am now on course to finish yet another marathon. This time I won't receive a medal but I will be the first 🥇when we open our doors. Help us build Birth By Queens Birth and Wellness Center. The race is on 🏃‍♀️and we have less than 1000 days to do it.
