Client Testimonial ✨

“I searched out a nutritionist in Sept ‘24 when I was dealing again with some chronic GI issues which had gotten worse after a bout of COVID, extreme gassiness, constipation, bloating & discomfort.

🚨 My GI Doctor had recommended going on a low FODMAP diet which I know helped in the past but this time I wanted to do it with the guidance of someone trained because previously I had difficulty adding food back in my diet & knowing which were causing issues.

🌱 I found Amenta Nutrition online & when I looked at the biographies of both April & Christine I saw that they were both trained in the low Fodmap diet so decided I would schedule the free consultation.

✨I am so grateful that I did this!✨

👩🏻 From the start I felt very comfortable with April & found her to be a wonderful listener, extremely knowledgeable about the GI system & the Fodmap diet & very flexible in being able to adjust things to my particular situation.

🌱 The suggestions for foods & the meal plans really helped me to look at alternatives to what I was eating & the information/suggestions I received in the video chats really helped put me on a healthier path & were so supportive so I slowly saw my symptoms begin to improve.

👩🏻 Being able to message April between sessions with a question was also so helpful & she was so responsive to these messages. During the holidays I was not careful enough about what I was eating & I had a setback which required medical intervention.

🌱 Luckily I had an appointment with April already scheduled & she really helped me put together a food plan & recipes that would help me recover from the difficulties I was experiencing.

🚨I find medical people tell you what to stay away from but are not specific enough in what will help recovery & I relied heavily on the recipes and food suggestions April sent me which were invaluable & her overall support.

✨I feel so much more able to make good decisions in terms of foods & supplements I can use to better manage my GI issues thanks to my experience with April & Amenta!”✨

🤯 48-73% of adults associate food with gastrointestinal (GI) symptoms!
Isn't that crazy??

🔥 73% of those with heartburn say it's related too food as do others who have the following symptoms:
⚡ Discomfort: 67%
🟤 Diarrhea: 57%
Bloating: 53%
💭 Gas: 48%

🚨 It's even more common for patients with IBS who reported that up to 84% of the time food is the reason for their GI distress.

Now he's the kicker - it's not just about suffering through these sometimes debilitating discomforts -they actually negatively impact your quality of life or QoL:
😔 Nearly 40% of Americans have stopped routine activities in the last year due to uncomfortable bowel symptoms!

📣This is not okay - you shouldn't have to stop doing what you love! And you're not alone:

😵‍💫 60-70 million Americans are suffering from GI diseases that can create serious disruptions to daily life.

🥝🍅🥪 Food is a major part of our daily lives! We eat a minimum of 21 meals a week.

🌬🎈Associating food with digestive distress can lead to fear and anxiety around mealtimes and social outings.

🙌🏼 It does NOT have to be this way! Once you know WHY you're having symptoms and WHAT is causing or making them worse, then you will enter the world of food freedom -as it should be! 🥑🍆🍕

✨Free yourself of food restriction - it's not the answer✨

✨Client Testimonial✨ “I have mild Crohn’s disease with diarrhea and stomach pain. I tried steroids and various other meds, but still couldn’t control the pain very well. The pains were starting to keep me up at nighttime, and so that’s what motivated me to look for alternatives. Working with Amenta is awesome!! After steroids failed to relieve some of my stomach pain from Crohn’s, I was skeptical that diet changes alone could make a difference. But over the past month I’ve seen a significant reduction in my pain levels! And even better, I didn’t have to give up all my favorite foods. While I do exclude a few things, Dr. Christine helped me add some new foods back into my diet like dairy and soy that I had avoided for a long time. Highly recommend everyone give this a try!” -Amanda C. 🔗 in bio for Complimentary Consultation!

✨CLIENT TESTIMONIAL✨”I had been suffering from Diverticulitis for about 5 years. Following sigmoid colon surgery I continued to suffer from bloating, pain, diarrhea. My GI doctors were of no help in guiding my diet. They said “it will heal over time” and “no need for a nutritionist”. “Just eat low fiber diet for a while”. After about 5 months of floundering with food choices, feeling lost and overwhelmed and suffering from symptoms, I researched and found Amenta. I worked with April who has been truly fantastic. She put me immediately at ease and reassured me that we could figure out how to manage my symptoms and get my gut feeling good again. She guided me with a gentle GI diet and slow re-introduction of foods. All with very simple, easy to follow, specific instructions, food lists, recipes and reassurance. From the first session, I knew I was in good hands. I started feeling better fairly immediately and have learned a lot about my triggers, limits on fiber, relationship between mind and gut, the role of stress and the bene fits of eating small meals throughout the day. April is easy to talk to, even with embarrassing topics! My symptoms have subsided and I can better understand flareups when they happen. I feel so much more in control of my body and confident in my decisions about food.” 🙋🏽‍♀️ 🙋🏼‍♂️Can you relate? 🔗in bio for Complimentary Consultation

📣 April is IBS Awareness month

📣 It's so important to recognize these warriors who experience this debilitating & burdensome chronic ailment.

📣 IBS is the most common functional gastrointestinal disorder. Approximately 5-10% of people in the world experience symptoms like abdominal pain, cramping, gas, diarrhea or constipation on a regular basis -even daily.

📣 IBS doesn't discriminate against gender, age, race - anyone can be affected & unable to live their lives as they should and deserve.

📣 IBS management is tricky. Symptoms can change over time with periods of flare-up. Other times symptoms will lessen or even disappear.

📣 It's vital to have a good team that can come up with strategies to manage individual symptoms and experiences.

🔑 Personalized help is the key!
