This is a track I wrote at the beginning of my journey of the self..
It’s been a while since I’ve written + or released music.
Previous to my current version of myself I was focused on my artistic music career. My yoga practice triggered (internal shifts + life direction) + other life events (including becoming a mother to a wonderful son) put a pause in my music making + performance. Which at the time was probably a good thing ;)
Moving forward to now as a yoga teacher, healer + sound artist | musician I have intentions to create music that’s uplifting + healing.

- the king of all asanas - this variation often used in the Dharma yoga practice feels so good on my hip flexors + also a great starting point if you’re a beginner as you’re learning to work with balance + strength. I also find it relaxing + great for transitions. BKS Iyengar says a regular practice helps healthy pure blood flow through the brain cells... rejuvenates them so that thinking power increases + thoughts become clearer + strengthens lungs.

Only the body and mind pass through difficulty. Inside you are free. - Dharma Mittra
I’m currently working on my 30 day Dharma Charging practice, plus daily pranayama 30-45 minutes + meditation as part of 700hr continuing practice and I just began a 40 days of transformation daily Aquarian kundalini Sadhana practice... my body is being challenged ... I’m also dealing with an injury to my knee so Im having to do less than I’d like to do in order for it to heal and to keep up as well.
Some days I ask myself what am I doing! Why are you doing this!? You need to do more or some days less...The mind can be your worst enemy and it’s interesting to observe it from a neutral perspective. Watching the mind and it’s waves....
At the end of the day my practice is for my own transformation and growth, inside I do feel incredible strength and fortitude, fearless, and I feel peace.
My Sadhana helps me in all areas of of my life sustaining my health + physical + mental fitness, connection to GOD - improves me as a mother, a teacher, friend, healer and partner.
