This Thursday, November 21st, take a moment to focus on lung health as part of the Great American Smokeout. Quitting smoking—even for a day—can make a big difference in reducing the risk of lung cancer and other chronic diseases. Together, we can raise awareness and support those taking their first steps toward a smoke-free life.
💡 As part of Lung Cancer Awareness Month, we’re hosting a Lung Cancer Presentation this Thursday. Come learn about prevention, early detection, and treatment options. Check out the attached flyer for details!

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), there are around 11,500 new cases of cervical cancer diagnosed in the United States each year, and approximately 4,000 women lose their lives to the cancer.

The cervix is in the lower, narrow end of the uterus and connects to the va**na. Cervical cancer occurs when the cells of the cervical lining develop abnormally into cancerous cells. Cervical cancer is one of the most easily diagnosed and regularly screened types of gynecological cancer.

This January, we encourage you to take action to help end cervical cancer by learning more about the cancer and how to prevent it. 🎗

As we step into a new year, we would like to take a moment to reflect on the last year and acknowledge all of the successes and efforts made by our team. Looking back is an important way of reflecting on our progress and ensuring that we remain committed to the Tisch Cancer Institute Educational programs guided principle, “Early Detection Saves Lives”. We hope to continue delivering relevant and significant impact on the community in 2024. Lets take a look back at our previous achievements.
