We hope everyone has a peaceful Memorial Day of remembrance.

Memorial Day for many people is a day of remembrance for those lost in wars. But for others of us it can just be a day for remembering loved ones who have passed. At NYSH we have our favorite famous grief remedies including...
Natrum muriaticum, Ignatia, Aconite and Arnica can all be very useful both in the short term as well as years later, if someone still feels overwhelmed by grief. A simple differentiation is that Nat mur is good for that quiet grief that gets held in and is kept private, and Ignatia is useful for that rather expressive, emotional kind of grief with a continuing feeling of disbelief that the loved one has passed. Also useful is Aconite for the kind of grief that leaves one in a state of anxiety and often is expressed with shaking and trembling, or even Arnica for those folks who think they are ok but are not, and are in a rather stunned state. Any homeopathic remember can be used as a grief remedy with the best choice remedy being one’s own Simillimum!
