Having a chronic illness means constantly adjusting to a life you never planned for.
It’s canceling plans, not because you want to, but because your body simply can’t do anymore that day.
It’s navigating flare-ups with no warning.
It’s carrying exhaustion that sleep doesn’t always fix.
It’s advocating for yourself in appointments when you’re already drained.
It’s hearing “but you look fine” while silently struggling.
And sometimes, the hardest part is feeling misunderstood by people who genuinely care about you, because invisible illness can be difficult for others to fully see.
Living with chronic pelvic pain changes the way you move through everyday life. You learn to listen to your body differently. You grieve old routines. You adapt to a “new normal” while still trying to balance work, relationships, responsibilities, and your own well-being.
If this experience feels familiar, you are not alone in it. 🤍
