Too often we push past signs of stress until we’re on the edge of burnout - exhausted, irritable, anxious, depressed, even having physical symptoms - sleep, digestive, flares of eczema, autoimmune symptoms, or hormonal problems.
Lately, many of us have been dealing with stressor after stressor in our personal lives as well as in the world as a whole.
We also rarely let ourselves replenish after a big ‘push’ - having a baby, moving, changing jobs or relationships, launching something really big. Instead, we barrel into the next project and accumulate rest-deficit.
But the pause is where the magic happens: replenish that energy, clarity, and creativity. Your well refills.
I’m giving myself a gift today - I’m hitting pause to spend time with my loved ones, enjoy good food, move my body, read, rest and reset my brain, and enjoy being in the moment simply because I deserve it and so do you.
We don't need to accomplish something big, new, or incredible to deserve rest. We reap the reward of these things as a result of resting along the way- refilling our cups, replenishing our stores, and going at our own pace.

Ideally we want to catch ourselves before we get to this point! Rest is part of the process of having a happy life with sustainable energy. It allows total repair of body-mind-spirit.
