We are so impressed by and her work with children and meridian yoga therapy. Kids really love it!

“Middle-Schoolers + MYT. They especially loved sound breathing and the fascial stretches.

The challenge was that many of them had phones on them, which made adolescent attention span even trickier to harness —

Yet, in guiding them to come into the body, sense the organs, and breathe diaphragmatically, some kids on their phones put them away half way through, without being asked, and became curious, which was so cool…

Presence, patience, fun (i.e. meridian slapping technique), + learning to sense deeper layers of the body can be quite profound.”

Ute Lehrer is trained in the Bishnu Gosh tradition of the 26+2 as well as the 84 series (learning from Mary Jarvis, Esak Garcia, et al) she also has studied with Jared McCann, where she met Rose Erin in 2015. Since then, she has completed several SOS teacher trainings. She participates in yoga competitions worldwide, enjoying the challenge to be in the present moment for three minutes at a time. As a dedicated teacher, she takes great interest in the wellbeing of others and pushes students to reach goals beyond their imagination.

You can always learn a lot from your Liver meridian. The Liver is in charge of the SMOOTH FLOW of energy through the body. This is so important in the practice of Yoga. It has a lot to do with the Liver’s relationship to the breath (diaphragm muscle) and the emotions (especially anger). Intense emotions can cause muscle tension and pain - and obviously disturb the mind. The foundation of Hatha Yoga Yoga is the principle that the energy in the body (Prana) is related to the fluctuations of the mind (Citta).
