Quite often when we think about blood glucose control, we think about managing diabetes. But keeping your blood glucose stable does SO much more!

Having a good blood glucose level lowers your risk for inflammation and the onset of a chronic disease. Whether you have diabetes or not.

In addition, your blood glucose controls your hunger level, so it’s also key for healthy weight management.

Your blood glucose is affected by diet, insufficient sleep, exercise, stress and more. Eating healthy carbohydrates at each meal and snack is key. Go for fruit, vegetables, whole grains and nuts.

Hello Lovelies and Happy Tuesday!

Quite often when we think about managing blood sugar, we think about diabetes. But it’s wise to know that your blood sugar is so important for your overall health…whether or not you have diabetes.

Keeping your blood sugar stable lowers inflammation, improves your immunity, helps regulate your hunger, as well as affects your mood.

To help keep your blood glucose steady, make sure to get sufficient sleep and manage stress. And don’t forget to include some carbohydrates at all if your meals and snacks.

So enjoy those healthy carbohydrates. These plant foods include fruit, vegetables, whole grains, beans and nuts. Have some at every meal or snack.

Hello and Happy Wednesday, Friends!!

Although we are enjoying a break from Covid-19 currently in the US, keeping your immune system strong is smart prevention.

So what does your immune system do to keep you safe? It helps to keep invaders (viruses, harmful bacteria, etc.) from getting you sick. Your immune system is your best defense!

Eating more plant-based foods can provide you with an array of antioxidants and phytochemicals that will nourish your immune system and keep it strong.

And add in sufficient sleep, reduced stress and daily exercise, and you will be at the top of your game!!
