Having a good blood glucose level lowers your risk for inflammation and the onset of a chronic disease. Whether you have diabetes or not.
In addition, your blood glucose controls your hunger level, so it’s also key for healthy weight management.
Your blood glucose is affected by diet, insufficient sleep, exercise, stress and more. Eating healthy carbohydrates at each meal and snack is key. Go for fruit, vegetables, whole grains and nuts.
