At CHCA, we’ve made enhancing customer service a top priority this year. As part of our strategy, all administrative employees participate in quarterly customer service trainings, each focusing on key skills to better serve our community.

This quarter’s training centered on communication etiquette—whether in person, by email, or over the phone. Our team practiced active listening, paraphrasing, and becoming more aware of body language to ensure every interaction is respectful and effective.

Because at CHCA, providing quality care means going beyond healthcare—it’s about excellence in every interaction. 💪

🎉 A Historic Milestone for CHCA 🎉

CHCA is proud to announce the largest dividend distribution in our 40-year history! A total of $837,982.20 will be distributed among our worker-owners — marking our first dividend payment since 2017.

📊 Here’s what this milestone means for our worker-owners:

Average dividend: $1,432.45
Median dividend: $1,634.32
Highest dividend: $1,904.57

As workers were picking up their dividends, many of them expressed their gratitude and pride in being a worker-owner. Some workers were expecting much less and became emotional when they realized the dividend amount, sharing that they were experiencing challenging times, and this payout was a blessing for them. Other workers danced, laughed, and enjoyed being in community with their fellow worker owners.

We thank all of our worker-owners for their dedication and commitment to our cooperative community. Together, we continue to prove the strength of a worker-owned cooperative. 🥳
