My heart is so heavy again this week with the recent aggression on Lebanon yesterday. I’m truly saddened by the state of humanity. The level of suffering, hatred, lack of talking about it due to fear of retribution or simply not caring about it, and then there’s the miscommunication and propaganda, it’s all deeply saddening. I’m not even as angry as I used to be, I pray for the Truth now, for our hearts to soften, for us to wake up, and I pray God helps me to become strong to help others and I do nit drowned in heaviness and sadness. The Truth will always win.

How is your heart holding up? In the midst of so much suffering and pain, there is always beauty which begs to be witnessed and cherished and appreciated. Finding this beauty in spring now, and it does not disappoint. ✨

It’s been a minute since I’ve meal-prepped for a client trial, and I’m so happy to be back.
Alhamdullilah for these beautiful opportunities. Not all of them translate into regular clients, but the experience and opportunity is such a blessing.

Last week’s trial featured three Middle Eastern-inspired entrees (4 servings of each):

✨ Hashweh with wild rice, halal grass-fed ground beef, cauliflower rice, and toasted almonds.
✨ Halal Grass-fed Lamb Doner Kebab with Arugula Fattoush Salad, labneh yogurt dill sauce, and a pomegranate vinaigrette.
✨ Organic Halal Sumac Chicken with Roasted Fennel Salad, goat cheese, and Mujadara.

As always, my kitchen is fueled by organic ingredients, grass-fed meats, and local, seasonal produce.

I love to use brands that have deep significance to roots, culture. and the land, that are ethical and sustainable, brands that honor the people and the lands from which the ingredients are from. .palestine is my favorite olive oil, .odyssey is where I get my zaatar from now, i’m currently using sumac and sweet paprika, and all my indian spices are straight from India. The black pepper I use it directly from my Family’s farm in South India. Last year I brought back some organic brown rice straight from the rice fields of Tamil Nadu. Not everything is sourced this way, but I try to be as mindful as possible. It’s about the Love for the lands, supporting indigenous peoples and communities, and celebrating life and the blessings we DO have. And being a voice, no matter how small, to those who need it.

Life took me away from what I love to do the most for more than a season, but I PRAY it comes back in the most beautiful form possible. Insha’allah. 🤲🏽🌿

ALHAMDULLILAH. ✨❤️‍🔥

It’s been a minute since I meal prepped for a client trial, always so happy when I do. ❤️‍🔥✨

Alhamdullilah for these beautiful opportunities. This couple wanted 3 dishes (I made 4 servings of each) entree style, middle eastern flavors.

• Hashweh with wild rice, halal grassfed ground beef, cauliflower rice, toasted almonds
• Halal grassfed Lamb Doner Kebab with Arugula Fattoush Salad, labneh yogurt dill sauce, pomegranate vinaigrette
• Organic halal sumac chicken, with Roasted Fennel Salad, goat cheese, Mujadara
I always cook with organic ingredients, grassfed meats, local produce wherever possible, seasonal vibes. I use avocado oil, ghee or olive oil and zaatar from .palestine, sumac from@zandzdc.

in the midst of fear and loss, all we really have is this fleeting moment. I will regret everything my heart wanted to do but did not because I was so focused on things I could not control or comprehend. We only have one fleeting life. May I keep striving towards my highest God given potential. Praying Allah always guides every second of the day. It’s so easy to forget sometimes. To forget Adab (proper conduct, respect, love) to forget our purpose, our passions, our Raab (our Lord). Insha’allah we keep turning until we see nothing but Him. ❤️‍🔥

I initially had a goal to fundraise enough money for them to survive for 3 months, which is $1500/month for each family but due to life stress and overwhelm, I’m just raising anything I can. so please help us, share, saved like, comment, everything helps us. 💕🍉🕊️

Happy Women’s Day, I don’t know happy it is for these babies. Beautiful, sweet, strong Hala is a big sister to her little brothers, this girl is so strong, resilient, smart, and honestly much more of an inspiration than most.

If you’d like to donate this Ramadan to Hala and her family, and 4 other families in G@za who still live in tents and have restricted access to almost everything, please DM me to donate and I will provide the best method of transfer, I will provide pictures/details of how and where your donations went. This also counts as if you’d like to donate during .

May Allah Bless these courageous souls and give them the best future, Hala NEEDS an Education and access to safe spaces, and a safe home. May we all help each other always. May God give us the strength, the courage, the love to serve always.

It was my Father’s Birthday earlier this week, March the 4th.

Our story was never simple—there was deep hurt but also quiet moments of care. Years of anger slowly softened on my spiritual path, and his sudden death at 60 is part of what pushed me toward healing and living more consciously and holistically.
I hold both the pain and the gratitude together and entrust him, and our story, to Allah’s divine mercy.

✨ Rose & Pomegranate Love Smoothie (serves 1)

1 cup almond milk
ÂĽ cup Greek yogurt
1 scoop vanilla protein
1 tbsp almond butter
1 tsp rose powder
1 tsp rose water
1 tbsp gluten free organic oats
1 tsp chia seeds
1/2 cup organic strawberries
ÂĽ cup steamed cauliflower
1–2 tsp pomegranate syrup

For winter, skip ice, use less frozen fruit, and let everything come to room temp before blending. Blend until silky, pour, and drizzle extra pomegranate syrup or rose petals on top.

the greatest love story you’ll ever live is the one between you and the One Love that created you – the Love that’s held you quietly through every version of yourself. 🥹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🔥

this rose & pomegranate smoothie is a little ritual of choosing myself: nourishing my body as a way of honoring my life and my heart, even on the heavy days. with my gerd, i sometimes find smoothies the easiest especially if im tired and just need a pick me up.

🥀rose is known for its calming, heart‑softening qualities, and pomegranate is rich in antioxidants that support glow, circulation, and renewal from the inside out.

✨✨✨ May you fall in love with yourself gently – not from ego or perfection, but from knowing you are already worthy of care, rest, and softness. here’s to foods, thoughts, and relationships that feel like they’re on your side. ♥

Motivation is an interesting concept. It’s not alea s there when we need or want it is it? It’s a fleeting emotion, there one day, no where to be found the next.

How do we make the changes we need to live healthier, fuller, more present lives if we run out of motivation frequently?

This is where the concept of crowding out comes in. something i learned during my health coaching course at . We add the things we want in our lives and slowly crowd out whatever is not serving us. This way, there is no pressure to remove something overnight, which can be so overwhelming and scary too, especially if we have carried it with us for years. The idea is not to label anything S food or bad, but learning to live in alignment with what our body needs and doing it in a way that’s sustainable and doesn’t depend entirely on your will power or motivation. When we set unrealistic goals and expectations for ourselves and we can’t reach them , we get into a vicious cycle of shame and despair.

Let that all go, and breathe. And celebrate the little wins every day. ✨

I love supporting people on their journey towards wellbeing and health. It’s not perfect, it’s messy, but it’s beautiful, and the feeling of being alive and present makes it all worthwhile.
