This patient had broken her front bridge due to a collapsed bite. There was very little space to restore her missing teeth and she did not want implants. My surgeon removed her broken front teeth and also did a little alveoplasty to create some space in the front. I opened up her bite with new, special crowns with interlocks and this beautiful Precision attachment RPD make by . The patient is thrilled with her new partial.

Look! I’m famous! Went to the second district dental society webpage to look something up and found a picture of myself! Some of you may know that I have become more involved in organized dentistry in the last few years. It started when I went to a local meeting and found out that they were advocating to expand dentist scope of practice (specifically Botox, which is something I want). Membership in organized dentistry allows us to advocate for ourselves but also for our profession politically and in the face of large corporations (insurance/pharma). I’ve also made a lot of connections which have helped me grow personally and professionally. If you are not a member and wonder if you should be, come to a meeting! Maybe you will find that we are discussing something important to you.
