✅ Preventive Care: Choosing to go for regular check-ups, listening to your body, and being proactive about your health makes a huge difference — again, that’s your choice, not your age.

BIG NEWS! The Biden administration has directed the FDA to ban Red Dye No. 3 in food products, marking a major win for public health. This decision follows years of advocacy from EWG and other public health groups, including the Center for Food Safety and the Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI), who pushed for action on this toxic chemical. Red Dye No. 3 has long been linked to serious health risks including cancer and behavioral issues like ADHD in children.

Although this dye was restricted in cosmetics in 1990, it has remained in food products, particularly candy and sweets, putting millions of children at risk. Today’s decision sends a strong message that the health of Americans, especially vulnerable children, should always come first.

But this victory isn’t the end of the road. We are continuing to call for stronger regulations to eliminate other harmful chemicals from our food supply. With the FDA’s action on Red Dye No. 3 we’re one step closer to a safer, healthier food system.
