This patient is shown just 3 months following open rhinoseptoplasty, with a beautifully natural and balanced result. Key refinements include:

• Reduction of a prominent dorsal hump
• Tip deprojection for a more harmonious profile
• Improved tip rotation and definition
• Correction of a bulbous, bifid tip
• Enhanced nasolabial angle for improved facial balance

Some residual tip swelling remains, which is being treated with a targeted steroid injection — a normal part of the healing process at this stage. The tip will continue to refine over the coming months as the final result takes shape.

Happy Sunday everyone! For todays post we have a lower blepharoplasty patient. This was done transconjuctival with no incision outside. Shah Plastic Surgery - Dr. Nilay Shah

Dr. Nilay Shah is a well-trained plastic surgeon who specializes in surgical and non-surgical facial aesthetic and body contouring procedures. After finishing 5 and a half years of medical school and internship in India, he came to the United States and underwent 5 years of general surgery training from an Ivy League University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; the Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio; and world-renowned Mayo Clinic Arizona, Phoenix, Arizona.

Prior to residency training, Dr. Shah was involved in minimally invasive surgery research at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center, Tampa, Florida. Also, he was a post-doctoral research fellow at the Ohio State University in Minimally Invasive Surgery. With keen interest in minimally invasive surgery, he had a host of publications and a book chapter.

During his general surgery training, Dr. Nilay Shah developed keen interest in plastic surgery. He subsequently completed 3 years of highly competitive plastic surgery residency training from the University of Texas Southwestern, Dallas, Texas. During that time, Dr. Shah developed an interest in facial plastic surgery, and so he completed aesthetic surgery fellowship from New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mt. Sinai, New York, New York.

Subsequently, he stayed in New York with his wife and opened a plastic surgery clinic focusing on aesthetic medicine and aesthetic surgery.
