This July 4th, enjoy the fireworks—but protect your hearing!

Fireworks can reach or even exceed 150 dB—loud enough to cause permanent hearing loss or tinnitus (ringing in the ear). Keep a safe distance (at least 500 feet), use hearing protection, and help spread the word about safe listening.
