It's been 1 year since I started my journey on the I honestly never thought I would've been able to lose as much as I've lost. I transitioned into a back in Spring of this year and I am able to maintain my weight with low carb meals.

I wasn't going to post this originally but a friend told me I should, so here it goes..
Almost 40 pounds in 2.5 months. I didn't think I could diet, I didn't think I had the strength. I loved my food too much. I'm not sure what exactly pushed me to get motivated, but I did. And I'm not turning back.

Starting weight 225+lbs(probably over 230 at least in this pic)
Starting pant size 22+
Starting shirt size 2XL to 3XL

Current weight 187lbs
Current pant size 14-16
Current shirt size L to XL

Goal weight 150lbs or less

I started around 4th of July.
(I got my glasses a few months after the picture on the left was taken)

I know this isn't a SUPER dramatic weight loss pic.. BUT!!
I started Keto on August 17th and took pic #1 on that day. Today is Sept 19th and I just took this #2 pic.. 😊 I have almost hit 15 lb weight loss in this month..
Slowly but surely.. Sometimes you have to remember the story "The Hare and the Tortoise"... 😂
Keep going!!!! its working and I truly do feel healthier.. Find your own personal 'tweaks' here amd there and you'll be one happy camper..❤

Excuse the pajamas please😂 but just wanted to post my progress that I’m really proud of! First picture is March 2019, second picture is September 2019. Only been strict Keto for about 2 months but started doing low carb soon after the first picture was taken. It takes time and hard work, but it just goes to show discipline and a good attitude can get you where you want to be❤️ thankful for this group, even when the Keto police come after me!!!

*does anyone else find it crazy to look back at their “carb face” ??? it’s amazing what a good diet can do!

EDIT* for those interested, i use an app called “LIFE Fasting Tracker”. I find it helps keep track of hours in Ketosis from IF

EDIT 2* wow i really appreciate all this feedback, i wasn’t expecting it! I appreciate y’all. For those asking about my workouts, i don’t workout much, but i will say this:

the best workout advice i like to give that most women don’t already know is that lifting weights is much more beneficial than running. Running is good, but lifting weights (only certain muscle groups on certain days) will increase your lean muscle content. The more muscle you have, the higher your resting metabolic rate will be and that means your body burns calories when you’re doing nothin, on a larger scale. Calorie deficits are just as important as lowering carbs 🙂

As for those asking about my skin, I’m not sure why it’s not loose. I do use biotin and coconut oil🤷🏼‍♀️
