Maisha has a head full of hair, except along her edges. Lace front wigs that were glued down to her scalp, pulled her hair out for good. Even with all this beautiful hair, Maisha hid her hair loss under wigs and scarves, until she found us ( in NYC & Beacon). Art Hair at The Scalp Shop. Yes, is advancing 🤌 Here’s how it went down: Our client had lost her hairline and edges as well as substantial thinning in her crown. Once cut down, her hair showed an interesting pattern of small clumps throughout. With a mission to create the most realistic replication of her hair, we chose to jump right in to re-create those tiny groupings of hair. She was excited for us to match the clumps so that her hairline wouldn’t be follicle-style dots or masculine looking. (🙅🏾‍♀️No edge up for her!)

From “5-Head” to FOREHEAD 🤩 Ridiculed and bullied since childhood for her naturally receded hairline, she was ready to let go of wigs and the 5-head for good (her words!). After finding us on TikTok, she immediately booked stating we were the answer she was dreaming of her whole life.
