As I return to work tomorrow after maternity leave, it is in this 15th year as a Speech-Language Pathologist that I come back to working with Kiddo Communication families with a NEW level of insight.

Now as a parent, when providing additional suggestions, discussions, and recommendations beyond the actual therapy practice, I will no longer say to Kiddo Communication families, " If I were a parent I would..."

Now I will say, " as a parent I would..."
