I was an activist before I became a bodyworker 30 years ago, so I've long been interested in the intersection between body-centered awareness practice and social transformation. This new offering is as clearly conceived and articulated as anything I've yet seen. Even if you're not going to take the class, do check it out and take in the deep perspective the descriptions offer.

Grounded in current research, it offers a clear description of how oppression is experienced as a bodily ‘felt sense’ and identifies the mostly unconscious behaviors that perpetuate oppression.
