Wisdom Buddha Vajrayogini is the embodiment of the clear light of all Buddhas. When we rely on her—and imagine becoming her— we can quickly attain enlightenment.

The eleven yogas of Vajrayogini are specially suited to people with strong attachment and desire. These days, so many people struggle with craving. Vajrayogini practice can help us transmute our desires into the path to enlightenment. This is magical!

Note: This workshop is ONLY for those who have received a Highest Yoga Ta**ra empowerment or who sincerely wish to get one as soon as possible.

Please email epc@brooklynmeditation.org if you have questions.

It’s finally here!!! 👻

Join us for a walk in beautiful Green-Wood cemetery! This is not a formal class but an opportunity to connect with others outside of the center. All are invited to join us afterward for lunch at a nearby restaurant.

In addition to spending time in the great outdoors, we will discuss the Buddhist view on death and other topics. For Buddhists, these topics aren’t taboo or scary. They help us appreciate our limited time on earth and bring meaning to our lives and relationships.

Meet at the main entrance, 500 25th Street, just past the big stone arch.

Time: 11 am - 1 pm
Venue: Green-Wood Cemetery, 500 25th Street
Teacher: Sumit Som
Cost: Free

Finally! A book club that is meaningful AND makes you happy (and reading isn’t mandatory!) Just relax and enjoy😌

Join us Wednesday evenings as we study The Mirror of Dharma, the final book written by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. It covers the entire Lamrim—a series of meditations that guide us along the path to enlightenment—along with essential Buddhist teachings such as how to meditate and how to cultivate compassion.

Each week is a self-contained class focusing on one section, so feel free to join any time.

Saturday Workshop!

We were born, and so we will die. This stark truth is the foundation of Buddha’s teachings on impermanence. Embracing our mortality frees us from the anxieties and stress of normal daily life and helps us make the most of our time.

In this half-day workshop, we explore how to meditate on death and impermanence, and how these special meditations can help us live in the present. We’ll also consider what happens at the time of death and how to prepare.

While the subject may feel taboo at first, experiencing its practical depth and power to free the mind can be both inspiring and uplifting.

Everyone is welcome!
