CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY FOR ADULTS AND COUPLES OF ALL ORIENTATIONS

Upper West Side Therapy — Dr. Steven Howard, Ph.D., Psychologist
In person, as well as Audio/video therapy

PHILOSOPHY
I believe the therapist must always listen from an empathic perspective. This permits a greater understanding of the way the patient experiences their world from a non-judgemental perspective. In this way we develop techniques for change, reduce symptoms and anxiety and reveal insight into themselves. With this insight I help the patient formulate the unformulated thoughts they are having that affect their thoughts, feelings and behaviors. This translates into a greater understanding of their way of being in the world. CONTACT
