Hey FB family and friends,

One of the organizations I volunteer with is in need of support for their participants and residents.

I volunteer for winnyc Win which is a womens and childrens shelter committed to breaking the cycle of homelessness by offering services and providing solutions for families in need.

We're upon the season of thankfulness and giving. They're opening up some popup toy shops in their shelters. They need help stocking up the popup toy shops through their Target online registry. I'm dropping the link below if anyone is able to help spread the love.

Our crush this week is Grandmidwife Josephine Riley Matthews, born on October 3, 1897 in Aiken County, SC. As a fourth-generation midwife, "Mama Jo" caught around 1300 babies over 4 decades. “I am the fourth. My great grandmother was a midwife, my grandmother was a midwife, my mother was a midwife and then it dropped into my lap. I didn’t have any children.
