Here are 5 tips to help alleviate toothache pain:

1. *Rinse with warm salt water*: Mix 1/2 teaspoon of salt with 8 ounces of warm water and swish it around your mouth to reduce swelling and ease pain.

2. *Use a cold compress*: Hold an ice pack or a cold washcloth against your cheek near the aching tooth to numb the pain.

3. *Try clove oil*: Apply a few drops of clove oil to a cotton ball and place it near the aching tooth. Clove oil has natural analgesic properties.

4. *Take over-the-counter pain relievers*: Pain relievers like ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin) or acetaminophen (Tylenol) can help alleviate toothache pain.

5. *Visit a dentist*: Toothaches often indicate a more serious issue, so schedule a dentist appointment as soon as possible.

And here are 7 common medications and solutions for toothache:

1. *Ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin)*: Reduces inflammation and pain.
2. *Acetaminophen (Tylenol)*: Relieves pain and reduces fever.
3. *Clove oil*: Natural analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties.

6. *Dentemp*: Temporary tooth-filling material to cover exposed nerves.

Remember, these are temporary solutions. A dentist visit is crucial to diagnose and treat the underlying cause of your toothache.
