Bococa Dental We provide dental care for adults and children of all ages and offer a full range of preventive, general and cosmetic dentistry procedures.

Dr. Gangi has been practicing dentistry for over 15 years. Living in the neighborhood, he founded Bococa Dental to provide quality dental services for our Brooklyn community and families. He is a graduate of New York University where he received both his Bachelor’s degree (cum-laude) and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. At the New York University College of Dentistry, he was inducted into the OKU

National Dental Honor Society for graduating at the top of his class. He completed a General Practice Residency at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Virginia, has completed additional postgraduate education in Dental Implants at New York University and is an Invisalign expert. He is a HealthyStart provider, an active member of the American Academy of Clear Aligners, and has the Qualified Dentist designation by the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. Dentistry is an ever changing discipline and Dr. Gangi attends continuing education courses all throughout the year in order to provide you with the best and most highly advanced care. He has been living in the neighborhood for over 12 years and is lucky enough to walk to the practice each day. A husband and father of one son, he spends most of his free time with his family, taking photos, eating and living a healthy lifestyle, listening to his old records, and learning the martial arts of Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-jitsu.

We are all loving our new COCOFLOSS and look forward to sharing it with all of our patients. I have used many different flosses throughout my career and we all agree here that this floss really feels different. It makes everything feel so much cleaner. Great job for creating a great product for improving oral health! 👏👏👏

Yes, yes, we actually do bake our crowns daily! They are made in our office utilizing CAD/CAM technology (similar to 3D printing, but a subtractive process, rather than additive). So that means only one visit for a crown and not two, like in the past. No temporary crowns, no messy impressions, no second visit. Digital impressions are captured with our 3-D scanner, the crown is made with our milling unit, and then it is baked at over 1500 degrees to achieve a beautiful, strong and perfectly fitting dental restoration. The material used is exactly the same as the crowns my lab used to make for me. Technology now enables us to provide this great service for our patients!
