🚨 Spinal Manipulation 🚨
I've wanted to make a post about this for a very long time.

Key points:

1. Current research does NOT support the idea that spinal manipulation is any better than other treatment methods (massage, exercise).
2. There is a statistically significant INCREASED RISK of an adverse event due to spinal manipulation (increased pain, dizziness, and EVEN stroke or spinal cord injury)

Some people may report reduced pain, or improved movement. However, these effects are generally short-lived and diminish over time.

Everyone is free to make their own choices, but as for me, I do not recommend spinal manipulation for any of my clients. Any possible benefit doesn't even come close to outweighing the risk of injury or other adverse event.
