Today is NATIONAL W**D APPRECIATION DAY (not that w**d)!
Contrary to popular belief, not all w**ds are pesky. Some have nutritious values and can be added to your diet or daily supplement. My personal favorite w**d is the DANDELION. I think of my 6-year-old picking them from my yard and putting them in my hair but besides that there are many healthy benefits to Dandelions. Did you know that Dandelions have been known to reduce bad cholesterol, inflammation and cancer risk? They contain the antioxidant beta-carotene which protects your cells from damage and Dandelions can regulate blood sugar, aid in digestion and keep your skin healthy.
How do you consume these nutritious, beautiful w**ds? I’m so glad you asked! You can seep them in tea, infuse them in coffee, take as a supplement and you can even cook with them. Go ahead, Google it.
Next time you see those beautiful yellow w**ds you are skeptical getting rid of, save them and include them in your daily life and enhance your health.
