📊Did you know that around 15% of all adults in the United States suffer from tinnitus? That’s a lot of people! Over half of the people with tinnitus find it bothersome enough that they need to see medical evaluation to find a possible solution.

Unfortunately, there is no “cure” to fix it. Instead, we have to find solutions to be able to cope with the tinnitus so it isn’t quite so bothersome. A team of healthcare providers is often needed for this process. An audiologist is needed to evaluate if there is underlying hearing loss and can help provide treatment options like a hearing aid. 🦻

Did you know the smallest bones in the body reside in the middle ear? 👂

The middle ear bones are formally known as the ossicles: malleus, incus, and stapes. All of them could fit on a DIME! These bones are responsible for transmitting sound from your eardrum to the inner ear. Pretty impressive job for something so tiny! 😀
