Dr. Marie V Hayag is a board-certified dermatologist who practices on the Upper East Side of New York City. She specializes in cosmetic and medical dermatology and is known for her aesthetic and caring touch by her patients in the tri-state area. Dr Hayag’s expertise can help guide patients from simple topical maintenance treatments to cutting-edge procedures. She believes in natural results while achieving her clients’ goals. Dr Hayag is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and is a member of many medical and professional organizations. Dr. Hayag has received several honors and awards such as the Alpha Omega Alpha Research Fellowship, the Women’s Dermatologic Society Mentorship Grant, and the Mount Sinai Department of Dermatology Teacher of the Year Award. She received her BS degree in Biological Sciences from Florida State University with Magna Cum Laude honors. She graduated with Research Distinction from the University of Miami School of Medicine with her work on sunscreen and it’s effects on UV-induced immunosuppression. She has participated in various clinical studies including the safety and efficacy of Botox for glabellar lines. Not only has she authored several original peer-reviewed articles in prestigious scientific publications but she has lectured/presented at several meetings sponsored by the American Academy of Dermatology and the Society of Investigative Dermatology. She has been sought for her expertise on the national news and magazines.
