Liz Livingston Yoga

Liz Livingston Yoga Liz offers comprehensive and compassionate yoga classes with special interest in providing yoga for beginners, artists, and children.

In 2018, she and her partner Mathis founded YogaPiano to combine the healing potential of yoga and music. Liz Livingston is a New York based actor and yoga instructor with an RYT 200 Yoga Certificate and an MFA in Advanced Theatre Studies from Harvard University. She teaches yoga and meditation at Mind Body Soul Yoga in Washington Heights. Her goal is to empower students to take their yoga off the mat, whether that be onstage, in the office, or at home.

Thinking about my grand-uncle, Larry L. King. He wrote “Best Little Wh******se in Texas,” (yes, that one), “The Night Hank Williams Died,” and several novels including “Confessions of a White Racist,” “None But a Blockhead,” and “The Old Man and Lesser Mortals.”

Most families are complicated; in my particular case, this means I never met him. This leaves mean feeling a hollow sort of pain.

I’m studying his life and work for the next several months, perhaps years, and already feel some deep healing, discovery, and joy on the horizon.
