Great new case!

Barbara McNamara presented with an implant placed in very thin bone, accompanied by chronic soft tissue inflammation. She was dissatisfied with the aesthetics of the crown. Initially, we considered removing the implant and performing a bone graft. However, upon confirming that the implant was fully integrated, we opted for a less invasive approach. We augmented the bone, performed a connective tissue graft, and utilized an advanced flap technique. After three months, the results with the old crown in place demonstrated significant improvement in the soft tissue, paving the way for the removal of the existing crown and the creation of a new one.

Our meeting at Fogo de Chão was a tremendous success, with a full house in attendance!!!!

Dr. Donald Tanenbaum delivered an insightful lecture, and the steak dinner from Fogo de Chão Midtown was exceptional. We were also thrilled to introduce to everyone Dr. Luke Soletic DDS, MD, the newest addition to our team!

It was exciting to explore the latest advancements in neuromodulator applications and to learn more about Dr. Tanenbaum’s ongoing research into diagnosing, targeting, and treating orofacial pain.

The patient arrived with healthy incisors but had a “gummy” smile that had caused her self-consciousness for a long time.

Crown lengthening, performed by an oral surgeon, involves reducing excess gum tissue and sometimes reshaping the underlying bone to expose more of the tooth’s surface. This procedure is often sought to correct excessive gum tissue that makes teeth appear shorter, enhancing both the aesthetic appearance and overall oral hygiene.

The end result is a patient that can’t wait to show off her beautiful smile. More on this case in an upcoming reel.

Exciting day at the office today! New imaging technology just delivered. Swipe left to see what’s in the boxes!

A RayFace 200!!

A great new tool beyond traditional CT scanning. It’s a facial mapper that creates realistic 3D images for treatment planning.

Now I can show patients in minutes an accurate final result. They can see how they will look with their potential new smile, and even tailor their surgery to their aesthetic preferences, all in their initial consultation. A game changer.

Thank you to everyone that braved the weather for a night of great food, wine and cocktails, and camaraderie. It was great to see everyone there!!!
