A Specialist in Prosthodontics, Dr. Lambrakos received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry. He then completed a 2 year general practice residency program at Staten Island University Hospital, where he served as the chief resident in his 2nd year. Dr. Lambrakos completed his specialty training at NYU, in one of the most prestigious advanced education Pr

osthodontic programs in the country. During his tenure there, he received numerous awards and honors for his niche expertise in cosmetic, implant, and reconstructive dentistry. Dr Lambrakos was honored as the 10th recipient of the Dr. Harold Litvak Fellowship in Prosthodontics as well as the recipient of the Adisman Award. These awards both recognize the top resident in the specialty program. He has served as a clinical instructor in graduate fixed and removable prosthodontics at New York University College of Dentistry

He is equipped to address your dental concerns, ranging from basic everyday dentistry such as fillings,crowns and veneers to the most complex implant-retained crown and bridge restorations. As a further benefit for his patients, he has studied under Aesthetic pioneer Dr. Larry Rosenthal while completing the Aesthetic Advantage program at the Rosenthal Institute for Aesthetic dentistry.

We are happy to announce that we are now open for all dental care to improve and maintain your oral health. As COVID- 19 continues to influence our daily lives and operations, we believe it is our utmost responsibility to heighten health and safety procedures in our office and operations.

Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. We do this to make sure that our infection control procedures are current and adhere to each agencies’ recommendations.

You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff. For example:

• Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions. You’ll be asked those same questions again when you arrive in the office.
• We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office
• Contact-less temperature checks are performed for all patients and staff
• You may see that our waiting room will no longer offer magazines etc.,since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect.
• Staff is using optimal PPE and Medical grade UV-C air filtration systems are in place in each room.
• Extra oral suction units are being used in each operatory to virtually eliminate all aerosols.
• Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.
• We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.

Dear Rock Plaza Dental Families,

The health and safety of our patients, team members and community remain our highest priority. It is because of this and the continuing developments surrounding COVID-19 that we have made the difficult decision to temporarily close our office for the next two weeks.

We will be available to receive phone calls, schedule appointments and help with emergencies. If you have an appointment scheduled during this two-week time period, one of our scheduling specialists will be calling you to reschedule.
