Simply put, it means that teachers or clinicians take into account the social and emotional needs of their students or clients, as well as any past experiences that may influence their behavior, progress, or outcomes. Information shared with clinicians or therapists is 100% confidential, and very important because it allows us to tailor our approach, strategies, and goals to the specific needs of the client.
