Indoor cats are just as prone to dental disease, obesity, arthritis, kidney issues, and diabetes as outdoor cats.

Annual wellness exams help catch problems early and keep them healthier for years to come.

When it’s too cold for long walks or outdoor play, your pet can still stay active, engaged, and happy indoors. Mental stimulation is just as important as physical exercise and it helps prevent stress, weight gain, and destructive behavior during those long winter days.

Try mixing things up this season:
🧩 Puzzle feeders and snuffle mats
🦴 DIY “find it” games with treats
🎾 Mini indoor agility or obstacle courses
🐱 Cat towers, window perches, and rotating toys

A few minutes of creative play each day keeps pets healthy, sharp, and stress-free all winter long.

Salt, ice, and freezing pavement can do more damage than you think — drying out paw pads, causing small cracks, or even mild chemical burns from ice melt.

After each walk, give your pet’s paws a quick wipe to remove salt and debris, or use pet-safe booties for extra protection. You can also apply a paw balm to keep pads soft and healthy through the cold months.

Small steps like these can make winter walks safer and more comfortable for your furry friend.
