Dr. John A. Chabot, MD receives the 2025 Seymour Milstein Distinguished Service Award.

John A. Chabot, MD, Founder and Co-Director of The Pancreas Center and Chief of Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery at Columbia/NYP, has been given the 2025 Seymour Milstein Distinguished Service Award. Receiving this award is a great honor, as it was established by The Vivian and Seymour Milstein family, longtime and generous benefactors of NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center and VP&S, to recognize the excellence of our physicians and celebrate their vital role in making our medical center a national leader in academic medicine and patient care.

This year, 2025, marks the sixth year of the Seymour Milstein Distinguished Service Award, which is presented annually to senior members of the medical staff at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center and Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons (VP&S). The Milstein Award pays tribute to their extraordinary accomplishments and is a capstone of their outstanding careers.

Let us all congratulate Dr. Chabot on this exceptional recognition.
