Moroccan Elixir works with the Marjana Co-Operative Project in Essaouira, Morocco. This Women’s Co-Operative employs local women to produce the argan oil by the traditional methods. The co-operative employs the woman at a fair wage and gives them housing, education, medical and childcare benefits.
