Happy Tuesday,
I wanted to share something deeply important with you—something I've shared in the Correcticise 4 Life training that I believe holds the key to transforming not just your healing journey, but your entire relationship with your body and health.
When certain words are said like "my bad back," "my chronic fatigue," or "I have a herniated disc," we may think we're being factual... but what we’re often doing is unconsciously owning the diagnosis—wrapping our identity around it like a heavy coat that doesn’t belong to us.
This is what I call the kiss of death when it comes to healing our mindset.
Because here's the truth: none of those things are necessarily true.
They are experiences you are having-NOT definitions of who you are and potentially not related to what you are challenged with at the moment.
For example, 80% of people who show a herniated disc on an MRI do not have pain.
Most times, challenges are caused by multiple factors, which is why a comprehensive program, including having the correct mindset, is necessary.
What if, instead, we spoke using language that uplifts and invites possibility?
I term this high vibrational speech, which moves us toward our desired result more quickly.
Here are some examples:
“I’ve been given a diagnosis of ___.”
“My affected ___ is relearning how to walk.”
“My recovering ___ is asking for more support.”
“This is my beautiful reminder that change is needed.”
Can you feel the difference?
These phrases invite hope, growth, and empowerment.
They gently shift you from a passive recipient of suffering into an active participant in your own transformation.
From stuck to sovereign.
Words carry energy. They shape how we feel, how we heal, and who we become. This is highlighted in one of my favorite books, The Four Agreements.
If you are choosing to make your world better, then choose the words that align with the things that you are choosing.
What do you think? I’d truly love to hear from you. Hit reply and let’s keep this conversation going.
Until then, enjoy this beautiful day and, if this aligns, choose your words carefully.
Much love to each of you. 💙
