Yogi Charu is one of the few teachers in the west initiated into Kriya and Tantra Yoga by Swami Anandakapila Saraswati, a direct disciple of Swami Satyananda. Since the age of 15, Charu's yoga practice has taken him from the Caribbean, to the snow-capped mountains of the Himalayas studying under various Yogis, and to the hustle and bustle of some of the world's largest cities. Prabhupada, his heart opened to the yoga of devotion-Bhakti Yoga. Currently, Yogi Charu is sharing his wisdom and teachings in New York City. His uplifting classes takes students, regardless of yoga experience, to the journey of self discovery.
