Dr. Albert earned his Bachelor of Arts from The University of Pennsylvania and his Medical Doctor degree from Michigan State University College of Medicine. He was a plastic and reconstructive surgery resident and chief resident at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and then completed an aesthetic plastic surgery fellowship at the Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital. Since completing his education, Dr. Albert has served on local and national plastic surgery committees, co-authored scientific articles and book chapters in peer-reviewed publications, and shared his expertise through many academic presentations, all focused on advancing the field of plastic surgery.

Keeping the focus this week on COMPLEX revisions, this time, a revision rhinoplasty for a 41 year-old female who had her primary done by another surgeon several years ago.

Revision cases are always more challenging than first-time rhinoplasties because of scar tissue, altered anatomy, and prior grafts or sutures that need to be managed or corrected…

In this case, we
▶ removed old sutures + a previous cartilage graft (patient request)
▶ rebuilt tip support where tissue had been weakened
▶ reshaped the bridge by carefully removing cartilage + bone while preserving stability
▶ performed precise osteotomies (bone cuts) to correct asymmetry left from the prior surgery
▶ recycled cartilage into a new graft to restore contour + harmony
▶ and of course, balanced cosmetic refinement and structural integrity for long-term stability.

I am absolutely honored to share that I will be speaking THIS Saturday, September 27th, at the 42nd Annual NESPS Conference on a topic I’m deeply passionate about: Difficult Aesthetic Revisions of the Face

I will be presenting my revision facelift case at 9 AM on 10/27 with some of my incredible colleagues, who will cover the rest on breast, rhinoplasty, and body.

This meeting always brings together some of the brightest minds in plastic surgery, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the dialogue. Looking forward to exchanging knowledge, advancing techniques, and continuing to elevate patient care!!

We haven’t done this in a long time 👀 …

So we decided today’s the day to show off this incredible male septorhinoplasty patient— just 3 months post-op! 💪

Contrary to what we see normally in the plastic surgery realm, women aren’t the only ones who occasionally seek minor facial enhancements. This 25 year-old was tired of the bump on his dorsum, so together, we sought to correct it while maintaining his masculinity and features 💫
